This simple site is dedicated to helping people communicate more effectively, especially in becoming better writers and speakers. Since our special-needs daughter came along, my time is very limited, and my "consulting" work comes mainly in conjunction with my college work. My own writing is starting to pick up again.

There actually are three domains (donnellking.com, soapboxorations.com, and kingcreativeservices.com) pointed here, each of which has a different focus. You can read about those through links in the sidebar.

Textbook publishers and others have pointed to various files on these sites, and I want to continue to provide those resources for anyone who finds them useful. While this site is under reconstruction, even though you may find pages in this site that appear to actively be soliciting business, I'm not very available because of high time demands.

In fact, I recently removed some online publications I had been maintaining simply because I don't have the time to keep them up, and I really don't want to let them languish. If you were looking for something that used to be here, I apologize for the inconvenience. The increasing time demands from my family lead me to focus more on various writing projects, which I can work on while I take care of family needs, and so any online publications housed here will relate to those projects.
